NH Children’s Trust is pleased to announce that our popular training “Bringing the Protective Factors Framework to Life in Your Work” is coming to Plymouth in July. The training is meets the professional development needs of several licensed and certified providers including: 13.5 continuing education hours for those licensed by the Board of Licensing for Alcohol and other Drug Use Professionals, 13.5 CEU’s for Certified Prevention Specialists, and 13.5 Category I Continuing Education Credits by the National Association of Social Workers, NH Chapter. (CEU #3394). The Strengthening Families Framework outlines 5 characteristics, called protective factors, which help families be their strongest for optimal child development and a reduced risk that child abuse and neglect will occur. The framework also details everyday actions which anyone whose work touches parents can take to promote these protective factors. This training offers the opportunity to enhance strengths-based practice. On July 23 and 24 from 8:30AM-4:30PM, the training will be offered in Plymouth at the Whole Village Family Resource Center.
