This year\u2019s theme is\u00a0\u201cMental Health in a Changing World.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>

Your support<\/i><\/b>\u00a0will help us raise awareness of mental health and continue providing critical services to our patients and the community. Our goal is to raise more than $20,000 for direct services to 4,000 children, families, and adults living with \u2013 and recovering from \u2013 mental illness through proceeds raised from the art auction.<\/p>

Mental illness is a serious public health issue that impacts an entire community. The world\u00a0is\u00a0<\/i>changing, and the pandemic negatively affected many people\u2019s mental health and created even more barriers for people already suffering from mental illness and substance use disorders. Lakes Region Mental Health Center is working diligently to meet the needs of those affected, by increasing access to services for all who need them.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What is the Art Auction?<\/span>
The Art Auction is an annual fundraising event to help support mental health and the arts in the greater Lakes Region.<\/p>

When is the auction?
<\/strong>We are hosting the auction throughout the month of May- Mental Health Awareness<\/em><\/strong> month. This is a great opportunity for us to fundraise for the cause.<\/p>

Where is the auction?
<\/strong>Art will be displayed in the Lakes Region, location(s) to be announced, and also shared online through social media and our Bidding for Good<\/a>\u00a0platform.<\/p>

Is there a fee?
<\/strong>A 40% Tax Deductible Donation will be made to LRMHC upon the sale of your art. Pieces valued over $500 will be posted exclusively<\/em> on our\u00a0Bidding for Good<\/a>\u00a0Platform with a set reserve.<\/p>

What mediums are accepted?
<\/strong>We believe that art is truly in the eye of the beholder! To encourage diverse participation, we will keep entries open to many mediums and forms. To submit your art, please fill out the\u00a0Art Auction Submission Form<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>

Who can submit artwork? Is there an age limit? <\/strong>Submissions\u00a0are open to anyone! We will have a separate display section for artists aged 12 and under.<\/p>

How do I submit my work?
<\/b><\/span>Please fill out the\u00a0<\/span>Art Auction Submission Form<\/a>. Submissions are due by April 19th.<\/span><\/p>

Will I retain rights for reproduction?
<\/strong>The artist warrants that the design or Artwork being submitted is the original product of Artist\u2019s own creative efforts, and, unless otherwise expressly stated, the Artwork is original and is a single edition. Artist retains all reproduction rights for the original product, unless specifically stated otherwise.<\/span><\/p>
