Julia graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience. During her time there, she worked as a Mental Health Associate on an inpatient unit and as a Residential Counselor on a Community-Based Acute Treatment unit for children. She then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions. While completing her studies, Julia obtained experience working as a nurse on an inpatient psychiatric unit and as an intern here at Lakes Region Mental Health Center.
