Bethanie Vachon
Director of Development & Public Relations
Beth Vachon, joined Lakes Region Mental Health Center in 2022 as the Director of Development and Public Relations. Prior to LRMHC, Beth worked in public education for over 20 years in grants program management.
As a grant writer, Beth has been instrumental in securing over 20 million dollars in federal funding to enrich the Greater Lakes Region community. Beth is a passionate advocate for individuals most at-risk, dedicated to advancing equity, and reducing disparities in access and care.
Beth has undergraduate degrees in Fine Arts and Organizational Management, and a Masters in Special Education/Data and Assessment, and is nearing completion of a CAGS in Psychology/Clinical Mental Health at Plymouth State University. She is a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire Institute on Disabilities Leadership Series, and is a Certified Diversity and Inclusion Professional.
In her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with her family, including her three children, and three grandchildren- who keep her very busy travelling as they live in other parts of the country. You can usually find her with a tool of some kind in her hand, doing maintenance or improvement on her 120 year old Laconia home.
