Steve Blongy has worked for Lakes Region Mental Health since June 2020.  Prior to joining LRMHC, he spent the previous 12 years as the Director of IT & Compliance Officer for Rutland Mental Health Services in Rutland, VT.  Steve has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, having worked in multiple profit and non-profit industries.

Steve has many notable achievements, including being named in the 2015 Who’s Who in American Business.  He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1985 and was named Southern VT Soccer Official of the Year in 2019.

He is a 1989 graduate of the College of St. Joseph in Rutland, VT earning degrees in Computer Information systems and Business Management.

Steve resides in Meredith with his wife.  They enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and reading.  They are proud to watch their daughter thrive in her life.  Steve also enjoys following his favorite sports teams and officiating High School sports.
