Wed 2/27/19: With support from NAMI NH, LRMHC hosted Crisis Intervention Training for NH First Responders which was attended by State Troopers and EMS staff from all over NH. CIT is designed to equip officers with the knowledge on how to respond, de-escalate and divert a crisis situation when possible. Jennifer Jackes, Director of Short Term & Acute Services of LRMHC did a presentation on the role of a community mental health center’s Emergency Services staff when a person in crisis seeks care through the hospital’s Emergency Department. Her presentation included a virtual tour of LRGHealthcare’s Annex and the Franklin Regional Hospital Designated Receiving Facility.
